Humble Beginnings
On October 5th, 2022, then 17-year-old Keller Westman finished his first two hauling jobs, and Lakeshore Hauling was born.
First Milestone
Within three months of starting Lakeshore Hauling, Keller was on his first long-distance job in Leland, Michigan. This proved to be a turning point.
Summer 2023
Following a historically busy June, 2023, Keller had made the decision to go full-throttle on Lakeshore Hauling.
Our story, continued...
Making it Official
In December of 2023, Lakeshore Hauling LLC was officially registered in the state of Illinois.
Bigger and Better Things
By 2024, the majority of Lakeshore Hauling LLC's jobs were much bigger in volume, as his skilled team of workers' became more experienced. Winter 2023-2024 saw several trips to Detroit and Milwaukee, and the creation of our first commercial.
Realization
Following the immediate success of Lakeshore Hauling LLC's first commercial, Keller realized the extent to which Lakeshore had grown. Jobs were getting bigger, and much more frequent. Due to this, Keller made the tough decision to forfeit his final season of high school baseball in order to meet the demands of his business.
Our story, continued... again
Summer 2024
Summer 2024 was unbelievably busy and successful. We worked in eight different states, completing over 125 jobs.
Florida
In July of 2024, we did our first cross-nation job: a move from Evanston, IL to Boca Raton, FL. This job was nothing short of historic for Lakeshore Hauling LLC.
The Future...
Keller is currently a freshman at Michigan State University, and attributes his admission to the success of his business. While studying Advertising Management, Keller remotely runs Lakeshore Hauling LLC. He employs the most friendly, competent, and professional high school students in Chicagoland, who will proudly be taking over the labor aspect of running this business.
